New York City Bronx Zoo Gorilla.  

   If you have plans on ending your Summer vacation soon and are looking to do something really fun with the kids or even by yourself.  New York City The Bronx Zoo is the place for you to visit.   I’ve been going here since I was a little kid and have enjoyed it everytime.  There is always something new that I thought I saw but missed the last time I was there.  The Bronx Zoo is nestled right smack in the heart of Da Bronx as us local folks call it.   The lush green  trees that surround this wonderful place is a sight to see.  The park closes at 5PM so getting to the zoo early is key. This way you don’t have to rush too much.  Mondays are the best day to go to the zoo.  That’s an inside tip I was given by an employee of The Bronx Zoo.  Wednesday like I mentioned above is free but is a zoo. Pardon the pun I couldn’t help it.

   I always love a bargain, so if you want to save money try visiting the zoo on Wednesday and it is free to all who enter.  That is a huge savings because on any other given day the admission will run you $30.55 for a total experience adult ticket. And $21.55 for a total experience for a kids ticket.  A total experience means that you get  unlimited access to:  4 D Theater, Bug Carousel, Butterfly Garden, Childrens Zoo, Congo Gorilla Forest, Jungle World, Wild Asia Monorail and the Zoo Shuttle.  If you choose to not get the total experience (why go then) the tickets will cost slightly less.

 Personally what I recommend doing is buying the Wildlife Conservation Society one year membership pass.  This will run you $195.00 (can get coupons which I will list in my coupon link that will reduce the cost of this membership. Now I know the $195.00 price tag seems like a lot, but look what this includes. If you are just visiting NY then I wouldn’t recommend buying this pass, unless you are going to hit up all the parks that are included in this membership.  But being I am a New Yorker, this is the only way to go for my family.

Now there are different levels of the membership but because I have kids and they love to bring along their friends, this was the best deal for me.  One trip to the zoo with your family almost paid for this pass already. And its good for an entire year.
